Darren was born and raised in Dallas, Texas where he developed a strong connection to his community. As an accomplished athlete, Darren was particularly passionate about guiding young athletes, encouraging them to follow their dreams and achieve their goals. Tammie originally from Louisiana was also raised in the Dallas, Texas area and shared Darren's passion for helping the youth. As Darren's wife, Tammie not only stood by him but also stepped up to lead when necessary, ensuring that their mission continued even in his absence.
